Community Repair & Reinvestment Fund

The Talbot County Community Repair and Reinvestment Fund (CRRF) supports community-based initiatives that benefit disproportionately impacted and low-income communities. This page provides background information on the Fund and will be updated as grant opportunities become available.

What is the Community Repair & Reinvestment Fund?

The Community Repair and Reinvestment Fund is supported by revenue from Maryland’s adult-use cannabis tax. The Fund is designed to reinvest in communities that have experienced disproportionate impacts from past cannabis enforcement and related social and economic disparities.

Talbot County’s CRRF

  • Established by Talbot County Council Bill 1620

  • Effective December 13, 2025

  • Funded through the State of Maryland’s CRRF

  • Administered locally by the Talbot County Reinvestment and Repair Commission, composed of the Talbot Family Network, Talbot County’s Local Management Board, Board of Directors

Talbot County anticipates releasing its inaugural Request for Proposals and/or grant application process in Q1 Calendar Year 2026. This page will be updated when application materials and timelines are available.
