Community Repair & Reinvestment Fund
The Talbot County Community Repair and Reinvestment Fund (CRRF) supports community-based initiatives that benefit disproportionately impacted and low-income communities.
What is the Community Repair & Reinvestment Fund?
The Community Repair and Reinvestment Fund is supported by revenue from Maryland’s adult-use cannabis tax. The Fund is designed to reinvest in communities that have experienced disproportionate impacts from past cannabis enforcement and related social and economic disparities.

What does “disproportionately impacted” mean?
“Disproportionately impacted” refers to communities identified by the Maryland Office of Social Equity as having experienced higher rates of cannabis-related arrests, incarceration, or other adverse social and economic outcomes associated with past cannabis enforcement. For Talbot County, the Office identified 21601 as the disproportionately impacted area.
The Talbot County CRRF operates in alignment with the State of Maryland’s Community Repair and Reinvestment Fund and is subject to oversight and guidance from the Maryland Office of Social Equity.
